Herbarium can be viewed as a plant library as it provides information of plants and above all collects preserved plant specimens, usually in a dried form and organized under a system. Aside from dried-form specimens, plant data is also stored in other forms, for examples, fermented specimens, pollen specimen, spores, photographs, drawing pictures, transparent color slides, wood specimens and barks, fossil, exploratory record, diary, corresponding letters, reports or articles, texts about plants including taxonomy, nature, economic botany, ecology, pharmacy etc. |

Museum of Imaging Technology is the first one being established in Thailand and South East Asia holding exclusively and entirely cameras, photos, printing and other imaging technology. The officially opening date of the museum was on July 19th, 1991 which was coincidentally auspicious on the same month as the month on which the first camera was imported into Thailand in 1845. This is an important move of Imaging Technology and academy which exhibits the significant of imaging technology nowadays. |

Geological museum was founded almost at the same time as the department of geology, the faculty of science, Chulalongkorn University. In 1958 the department started to buy rock, mineral, and fossil specimens as course’s materials. Some parts of them were showcased down the aisles of the department old building. While taking the student to other province areas as a fieldwork, some specimens were collected and, for the precious specimens with proper sizes, exhibited also in those showcases. Other beautiful and interesting specimens contributed by the alumni and mineral companies are also exhibited. |

The Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University is a source collecting biological knowledge which provides academic programs and research in many branches, for example, invertebrate and vertebrate taxonomy, entomology, ecology, physiology, developmental biology, molecular and cell biology, etc. producing many experts in various areas such as biological experts in bees, mollusks, crabs, fishes, amphibians, reptiles, birds, primates, etc. |
