Development of clean and green fuels (especially liquid and solid) derived from coal and biomass pyrolysis, briquetting, biofuels and biodiesel. Coal pyrolysis
The understanding about coal pyrolysis, the effects of mineral matter, and the properties of coal char in relation to pyrolysis history is important, as coal primarily undergoes pyrolysis in coal combustion, gasifcation, and liquefaction. Pyrolysis of Thai coals are studied. The kinetics of coal pyrolysis, including mineral matter effects on coal char reactivity are reported.

Biofuels and biodiesel
Our most recent Investigation concerns the best blending of diesel oil and various vegetable oils under oil properties, price and season constraints. Other study includes transesterification reactions of various vegetable oils with methanol, with emphasis on non-catalytic process under supercritical methanol.
