The Department of Chemical Technology offers four study programs which are B.Sc. in Chem.Eng., M.Sc. in Chem.Tech., M.Sc. in Fuel Technology and Ph.D. in Chem.Tech.

Bachelor Degree Program
Department of Chemical Technology offers two options in Chemical Engineering Program. The First option is Chemical Engineering option. The curriculum follows the standard chemical engineering program. The other is called Fuel Technology option. Students have to study more in the area of petroleum and energy technology.

Master Degree Program
Students are required to finish 36 credit-hours. The program consists of 18 credits of coursework, 13 credits are required as core courses and the others may be selected from the courses approved by the Department. A student must submit a thesis of 18 credit-hours and pass an oral examination. Normally students will graduate in two and a half years.

Doctoral Degree Program
Students are required to finish 60 credit-hours. The program consists of 12 credits of coursework. By the end of the first year, the students have to take the qualified examination to be doctoral degree candidates. After that, the students must submit a thesis of 48 credits and pass an oral examination. Normally students will graduate in four years.
